I cannot figure out how to enable it by default, but instead just set
the curl opt for it and everything is fine.

Just like to add I see this problem too. My dnsmasq service starts as
nobody maybe %20 of the time from a cold boot. And dns forwarding is
broken at this time. Killing the process and restarting the service
usually results in the dnsmasq service starting as dnsmasq like it

touchPAD disabling feature appears to re-enable itself when coming out
of suspend/sleep mode also. Not sure if the devices are being

So, I just did a fresh reinstall. When the system came up from the
install it was working excellently - snappy responses from nearly
everything. I proceeded to run a full update including all the repos in
the system settings dialogs (including partners proposed) and then

quite old. I just updated my bios and holy crap my system is screaming

The bug looks to be in Dolphin. I'm not seeing it when opening XML (or
XHTML) files from Konqueror. This is with 4.8.4.
I have Kwrite set as my most preferred application for XML files. Double
clicking an XML file in Dolphin opens it in FIrefox (my default
browser). Double clicking the same XML
