am trying to update and I get the following error from synaptic: W:

changing the address from http to https seems to fix psad's crash, but i
still get data from unconfigured servers in:
/etc/fwsnort/fwsnort.conf

I can confirm that the steps in the bug description, helped me to solve
the BIOS issue. I finally was able to replace my old small SSD for a
brand new 500GB. I am very very happy.

Forgot to add, the laptop it is a Lenovo u31-70 with the Insyde BIOS

This is affecting basic NetworkManager use cases. It's impossible to
connect to any password protected wifi. I'd bet this bug is the cause of
many other requiring access to the keyring storage.
