VPN connections to share internet: pptp, pppoe, l2tp). Massive PPP

2.6.31-10 partially improved this. Today it only 2 times slower on
download and about 4 times slower on upload. But the whole system
sometimes hangs on, so no keyboard/mouse/etc doesn't work, and then
leaves it after are minute or something.
