OK, I installed Fontforge and did some checking. All of the faces I
cited do have all four standard fonts (regular, italic, bold, bold-
italic). However, they all have exactly the same number of glyphs for
each of the four fonts.
Furthermore, I have numerous other fonts installed on my computer

It does not happen just with Junicode. It happens with Bitstream Charter
and Sans, FreeSans and FreeSerif, Liberation Sans and Serif, Linux

and Serif and the characters did not drop out. However, the three glyphs
(026A, 0361 and 0283) changed to a different font when I applied bold.
You can see that they are a different font because the characters are

It's still not fixed with Feisty Beta amd64. I first experienced it with
the Herd 5 live CD. When the Beta came out I installed with the
Alternate CD, but it still happened. Then I downloaded the Beta live CD
and it still happens. My keyboard continues to work and, as others have

I have finally determined that this problem is with Edgy amd64, not
OpenOffice.org. Here is why:
I have used OOo since forever and never had a problem with drag and drop
of text. (E.g., drag a clause from the end of the sentence to the front
of the sentence.) It worked fine
