I've tried the 3.8-rc6 kernel and it seems that the overheating problem
is gone !
My laptop have the Optimus hybrid graphics system, I have to use
bumblebee in order to enable the Nvidia card, and I think it's not
compatible with the Nouveau driver.

I have a similar problem, audio players seem to randomly freeze while
playing mp3s. I'll try to get a stacktrace with gdb maybe you could try
too by following these steps :
1. Start Banshee in a terminal with banshee --debug
2. Open another terminal
3. Hook gdb onto the running Banshee
Gdb shows me problems with Gstreamer (see attachment)

I understand that if you don't move your cursor you don't expect the workspace
to change, but one never only do :
- press Super-S
- press Super-S
because it's supposed to do nothing, I think one do :
-press Super-S
-move between workspace with directions key
-press enter

I'm not affected by this bug anymore, but I don't know what stopped it
from happening.

For me it isn't a bug, I use everyday Super+S and the mouse cursor to
switch workspace :
- I press Super+S
- I keep the Super key down, move my mouse cursor to the desired workspace
- I press S and the desired workspace comes up.
I think it's the smoothest way to change workspace, with

When Apport pops up saying there is a problem, I click on Continue
then the windows disappear and nothing seems to happen but I can see a
new .uploaded file in /var/crash
However when I enter the command apport-bug package it works
