Thanks Colin.
I have HP Mini 1000 (model 1100). Did a fresh install of 9.04 UNR,
installed all updates, and then installed your kernel deb.

In bug no. 208836, John Dong from the Backports team mentioned that they
were only going to backport new bug fixes to transmission 1.06 version
for the release of hardy. At some undefined future time, he said they
would undertake the more-invasive update to a newer transmission version
(then 1.1).

I would like to confirm this behavior as well with hardy alpha 6. LiveCD
reaches gdm login window, auto logs into ubuntu account, displays
desktop image, and promptly fails to load gnome or metacity or even
kills the xserver, popping the user back to the gdm login window,

I would be pleased to test out the most recent development release of

testing totem under the safe graphics mode would not provide you the

Thanks for the response. After a little more searching through launchpad

Hi Anders,
I'm having the same totem error as you, though I'm running Xubuntu
Gutsy, and though I have replaced totem-xine with totem-gstreamer as I
had the same problem with xine.
As for the backtrace, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace again. Once
