I think we did a good work with versioning and the upload should have
gone just fine. In fact, I was able to test Gazebo 11.10.2+dfsg-1
directly from Jammy repositories and works like a charm. It does not
conflict anymore with opencv.

pieces are in place and found a weird bug on ignition-physics amd64
(which is a dependency of

I was installing xubuntu 18.04 from a live usb and I came out that you
could not install the grub is a new installation but on the partition
where I had installed kubuntu 16.04 I told him to remove it first but
God knows if he did well.

* The libgazebo9-dev does not include the static libs generated
during the gazebo build.
Users of gazebo binaries can not access to them through the
normal package.
* At this moment there is only one .a library being generated
Thanks Brian for the quick response. I can confirm that the proposed
one-liner submitted initially with the bug to check for right paths now
returns that the bug is fixed.
I also compiled the gazebo physics suite, that uses the simbody cmake
module and the error is now gone.
