I know this is probably the wrong way to do it, but, in an attempt to
tidy up the bug report I've added the lspci and dmesg as attachments to

From that I'm guessing pygtk/twisted-internet although I'm not sure
which (if either is at fault). Although an error in /var/lib/python-
support/python2.6/gtk-2.0/glib/_glib.so would point the finger more
towards pygtk

I have tracked the issue to the memaker.ui file, the IDs of your GUI
components are not unique within the file. This is causing GTK to though
a tantrum. Renaming the IDs to something else (possibly more related to
the job of the UI element (ie. image1 - gtk-save-as-image) would
probably fix this

Just had a user in ubuntu-uk with this issue.

Desktop Computer - installed from LiveCD.

Gave him sound back (don't know for how long though).

I can detect and use the inbuilt microphone, but video doesn't work. I
have a TV Capture card, (this might be inter-fearing with it, however i
