Interesting, alsamixer can't mute/unmute PCM, but it can mute/unmute
other controls like Master and LFE.

It's highly probable that this is related to the iwl3945 driver.
Unfortunately, I've experienced this bug even with the RF kill switch enabled
(probably because it's still loading iwl3945). I was able to boot by disabling
wireless in BIOS config (so the driver is not loaded).

Binary package hint: xkeyboard-config
The eject hotkey (Fn+F10) in my Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop doesn't work
as expected.
When I press it in gnome-keybinding-properties, it behaves like it's
constantly being pressed. That is, i can assign it (XF86Eject) to the
Eject action

I think this should have probably been fixed in xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
version 0.14.7~git20070706-2.1ubuntu3.

Public bug reported:
When using hotkeys to change screen brightness, it's changed twice. That is, I
have 4 different brightness levels, but I should have 8.
When the acpi video module is blacklisted, brightness is changed as expected (I
get the 8 levels).

I found a way to reproduce this bug, I'll try to reproduce it with the
new version.
