I try different parameters in grub menu: nosmp, noapic, acpi=off, it takes no

I am not familiar with the language-selector.
However I check the 69-language-selector-zh-*.conf files in 12.04 as well as
latest 14.04, then I find the following difference:
(1) binding=strong is added in 69-language-selector-zh-cn.conf in Chinese
version 12.04
(2) in live
I read the source code of language-selector and find that it mainly set
the input method in language selector dialog.
I also try the im-config -m in installed 14.04 system with latest ISO and
the result is:

I do the test on July 4th UbuntuKylin daily build image and the steps are
follow:
(1) Open the System Settings and the setting functions except DateTime
are can be started normally .
(2) Then open the date-time indicator and choose the DateTime Settings, the
time setting cannot be started

slection in Appearance setting dialog is blank. After I choose one of
the default three themes, I can't change back. The only choice is to
make the setting with gnome-tweak-tool again.

The Gnome with Xmonad session starts up normally, but doesn't automatically
launch xmonad. The Gnome panel starts
up without a window manager. When I start a terminal and manually boot up
xmonad, it works fine.

This is a separate, possibly unrelated issue, but if anyone has had the
same problem and is hunting for a workaround, you should add xmonad
through the Gnome GUI. Go to the main menu - system tools - settings
- autostart
