Testing with 2.0.4 from lucid-proposed.
First click = 7.7mb memory increased
Second click = 3.7 memory decreased
Third click = 0.3mb memory increased
Fouth click = same from above. less than 1mb memory increased
Fifth to sixth = same, less than 1mb memory increased

Confirmed working on Mandriva 2010 KDE. Haven't tested the GNOME on Mandriva.

Confirmed.
I followed the steps to reproduce, memory consumption keeps growing
every time i clicked on Provided by Ubuntu. Memory consumption raised
about 15mb per click.

I have a windows xp machine. With shared folders named, "My Documents",
"Private", "Cafe Files", "Softwares". All of these folders have sub-
folders in it. All these folders have read-write permission enabled.

I reinstalled everything from fresh install after my system crash. My
system crash after installing Avira AV for Linux, making all my
partitions corrupted.
After fresh install, i still experienced ticking of sound as described
above.

Additional info of what i've tested so far.
Decreasing volume level to 0, i still hear ticking sound, while playing a movie.
Mute all, is the only option to stop the ticking. Un-mute makes the ticking
comes back.

I've got this very annoying ticking sounds in my Ubuntu 10.04 installation.
Ticking sound comes out when im playing a movie (always), when playing flash
games with firefox(always), when closing browser (sometimes, 1 tick sound),
when scrolling this forum using my mouse scrol
I have dual core processor. CPU1 and CPU2. I always get 100% CPU usage
in either of the CPU usage but not at the same time. When CPU1 goes to
100%, CPU2 lowers to about 44%. then when CPU2 rises to 100%, CPU1
lowers down to about 47%.
Is this related also to this Xorg bug?

i too got this crash. installed lucid beta, installed virtualbox
addition. then, i found that there was a new virtual box version,
downloaded it and then install. then reinstall virtual box additions,

Actually, i have just rebooted my computer after the latest update, then i got

This one also affects me, with Ubuntu 9.10. But how come, it's Ubuntu
specific bug. This one doesn't happen in sidux. Also, working on Linux
Mint 8. As far as I can remember, this does not happened in ubuntu
dapper.
