Also got problems after the installation, that the client (localhost) does not
find the data - i had to restart the machine.
After the restart, i opened up boinc and GPU was not found...
Now it works and will postphone if i experience probl

Okay, a twice checkdisk from Windows 7 gave no more errors and a lot of files
it found.
For easy living i deleted them all!
But now i have the problem, that the file names not match the files!
for example:
file name: movie1
start play, ic comes up with movie2, switches after some seconds/minutes
Seems a general problem, reproducible with some more pdf files...

I resized a partition on an hdd which is with NTFS formated to use the complete
disk.
This failed cause of a hang up of the PC.
The next was a try to repair this with 'sudo ntfsfix /de/sda3' which gave me
this:

Processing of $MFT and $MFTMirr completed
Some more infomations:
I buyed a SSD and did a new installation, 1000 MBit working out of the
box!
Got some problems before with an Windows 8 installation (shut NIC down
forever!) but now it works perfectly.
So anybody has to test more.

On 4 machines here is USB for safety disabled, an HP DeskJet 500 is

i installed Precise alternate beta2 to test an LVM scenario.
after finishing the installation the update icon showed a lot of updates.
opening up the update manager and looking into the sources list, the CD (where
i installed from) was listet about 10 times!

The option to copy original CDs into the music collection is totaly
brocken:
- Option "flac" is not shown; it is a simple blank field
- for all 4 options are no possibilities to set individual settings.
Everything worked fine unter Natty!

Have you tried the Beta-Version of Ubuntu?
I had already the same problem but it is now fixed in Precise Beta1 from 1th
March.
If this did not fix the problem, please reopen this bugreport (hope, i'm
right)...

After the reboot everything seems fine!

The dir was at every time completly empty!
I checked this before, while and after the update process.
Ater reboot 162 new updates available...
Check for new (168) and downloaded this 6 and the new plus the missing from the
last update process where installed.
