Hi Chris! Sorry for bumping this up, but I have a small problem
installing it from a branch. It seems not working with a compiz's video
plugin, thus no video is seen. Just tried to apply a patch manually from
the link above, and it works. Can you check please a code in the branch?

I can confirm it. Despite my keyboard settings are set in the xorg.conf,
sometimes after a login they all are screwed. An unsetting/setting the
checkbox in the modifier switcher options helps for a whole session, but
gets lost after the next login.

Public bug reported:
Hello!
Last night I updated to Hardy and now, when I login in to the gnomes
session, it takes a lot of time just to load a desktop. Finally when I'm
logged in, it shows a message that it couldn't start gnome-settings-
daemon and will try to start it during the next login.

Tomorrow I will install a -dbg version of Evince, maybe I need
libpoppler too, and give you the results.

I've launched firefox on my Ubuntu box, and it crashed, but after eating
all memory. I hope this crash report will help to investigate the
problem. But anyway this is the rare accident so it's not important, I
think.
