It seems to have been as simple as delete purge xserver-xorg and then reinstall
xserver-xorg
This fixed the issue for me.
However, in the meantime I also manually updated my linux headers to the latest
version (for wiley) because they would not update correctly by just doing

I'm trying to share a connection from my phone to the laptop. After
setting up the phone and pairing the two devices, connecting to the
network using blueman (Bluetooth Devices window) is impossible, as an
IPv4 is never requested. Right clicking on the phone icon and forcing
I can't seem to reproduce it on a VirtualBox VM with two monitors using
yesterday's live image installed onto the hard drive.
I hope to have the time to update and try again on my real laptop some
time this week.
