Similar issue on MSI 790GX-G65 motherboard (Realtek ALC889), the only
difference is no internal input channel is showed (see bug
1003671). Fixed by workaround on comment #32, I'll test new pulsaudio package

Just for reference, the alsa-info for this motherboard are available at
David, yes it's the internal microphone/input (Realtek ALC889 on MSI
790GX-G65 motherboard). Pulseaudio seems unaffected to me, see attached

I think the actual issue needs investigations.
First of all I can confirm unity in my natty guest (with virtualbox-ose-
guest-x11 installed) stopped working in my VirtualBox (4.0.4 on ubuntu
10.10 host) after the update to xserver 1.10 in guest. Instead compiz is
still able to run in natty guest
I've just updated this specific translation, but I hope Giovanni hasn't
filed more bugs about mixed Italian/English messages :)

I haven't seen this bug before opening another one about this issue. Maybe you
could collect more info from Rhythmbox log while transferring tracks to iPod. A
simple copy and paste from terminal is here

Hi Pedro, it's true that a new Rhythmbox version is available in Ubuntu 10.10,
but:
* RB indicator in 10.10 in totally different from the one in 10.04
* 10.04 is a LTS release
So, IMHO, if we want to remove this odd behavior for LTS users, we should fix
RB indicator in 10.04, even if the
Mainline kernel installed (2.6.36-020636rc8-generic #201010150908),
tested, and executed apport-collect.
Unfortunately the card reader is still unrecognized.
