After updating to 5.8.0-1013-raspi, my rpi400 now turns off. But it wont
turn on again! I have to reinsert the power to power it back on...
And I think the power led's behaviour has changed too, now it's a pure
HDD activity led instead of a power led.

On the other hand, Arran, this is most likely a minor build/integration
issue, as it has been working for years. The effort to fix this may be
neglible.
And, do not underestimate the value of integration - I work *a lot* with
libre-office and KDE, and really, the integration with the KDE file
I have been able to downgrade my libreoffice installation to the
previous version, using these commands:

The problem resurrected after I was playing around with WWAN card, I guess it
was due to enabling and disabling the card in the bios.
I was again able to fix it by restoring my pre-installed Windows image, and
then restoring my Ubuntu image.

in the pre-installed Windows uploaded some firmware to my wifi card.
Now it looks like all the hardware works out-of-box, what a joy :)

I have now figured out that the ISACTIVE:true in .xsession-errors
comes from the Nagios Checker firefox plugin, when focusing/unfocusing
the main area of Firefox. I have disabled that plugin and will try to
see if that removes the issue.

Hi. I've just upgraded to maverick alpha 3 in order to test if another

This one is a well-known bug, as a bit of googling shows. Apparently,
MonoDevelop doesn't accept console input when using Console.ReadLine().
Instead, it basically treats it as an empty string.
I don't know if anybody is considering changing this, but it sure would
be nice

I would like to confirm this issue in a slightly different matter. I
upgraded yesterday from karmic to lucid, with my laptop docked at work.
Attached to the dock was an usb harddisk, which have long had an entry
in my fstab.
I had some issues with the upgrade, which meant I had to reboot at some

I'm using the Chromium Browser installed from the Software Center, and
when I visit YouTube (any video) the video plays fine, but there's no
sound at all. Visiting the same videos with Firefox plays sound with no
problems.

Same problem here. Also if I try to drag a window from the affected
screen, xorg crashes and restarts.

And the performance seems to be bad in Xinerama.
PS: I run I386, so it also seem to affect that architecture.

Well, compiz actually tries to prevent this configuration from occuring.
To get a faulty configuration one needs to configure compiz and then
hot-plug the monitor.
The bug is about the limit existing.
You are very welcome to close it as unsupported or similar; I fully realize
that fixing it is a

I have a nVidia twin-view setup with 2 screens, 1900x1200 and 1680x1050.
I would like to use 12 horizontal virtual desktops. This is currently
not possible.
