Yes. Looking at the edgy package, they changed all the images into jpg
from gif. They also changed the HTML files. This is apparently just a
bug in Dapper/nunit-2.2.0-1.

Ok, I've figured it out. Somehow, ~/.Xauthority was wrong. Since the
script to lock the screen called /usr/share/acpi-support/power-
funcs:getXuser(), it set $XAUTHORITY to point to my homedir, while
everything else was using a file in /tmp. The files $XAUTHORITY and
~/.Xauthority differed*, which
