I purged samba and all related packages and deleted smb.conf and reinstalled samba. Now all is working like it should. I have two Fritz!Boxes tied together over VPN, one network is 192.168.10.0 und the other 192.168.20.0. My intention was to have samba access to windows boxes in 192.168.20.0

Public bug reported: I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 and after the reboot the computer freezes with a blank screen. I had to do a hard reset. Then I started in secure mode and choosed to repair xorg. Then the computer started with no problem. I think the problem is the new version of the nvidia
