prompt for the second document is displayed, but when password is
entered, nothing further happens and the comparison does not occur.

Thank you for your response. I have run apport-collect 1029039 as
requested. I cannot send the files as they contain all my password
information but I will create files to test and will let you know.

Have created a document Compare_Test and saved as Compare_Test#2, both
protected with the password Test. I have reopened the newer file
Compare_Test#2, made a change to it, and tried to compare with the

I am getting this problem with 10.10 - I'm trying to print labels so
difficult to find a way to print correctly. Problem is not restricted
to labels though, it affects all OOO .odt documents I try to print -
just it matters more for labels

I just checked this function with OOo3.1 on a Windows Vista computer and
everything works without problems - including much better access to
databases, e.g. Thunderbird. Is this therefore a problem specifically
with the Ubuntu implementation of OOo?

assistive technologies.
This seems a serious shortcoming quite beyond me to do anything about
other than comment that it should be fixed to preserve OO/Ubuntu
credibility.
