On Lucid x64, X crashes when I attempt to play Neverball using a Wiimote
as the controller with wminput. I launch wminput with the neverball
config (wminput --config neverball), which works, putting the mouse into
absolute positioning mode based on the Wiimote's tilt sensors.
This is not fixed fully. It doesn't segfault anymore, but it just locks
up and fails to boot.

Yes, the standard Ubuntu kernel works fine, as does my custom kernel if

I have noticed this bug when I was running qt4-x11 4.6-rc1 from a PPA in

Synaptics device only, rather than disabling the Synaptics acceleration.
When I disable Synaptics acceleration and use Xorg's acceleration, the
pointer is still extremely sensitive to small movements, and this makes

After some more testing, I don't really think this is a GhostScript bug.
I reverted poppler to version 0.11.0-0ubuntu4, and this caused the
printer to start working again immediately (after only restarting cups).
Can someone else confirm this?

may/probably will not boot on your system. It is optimized heavily for
the Dell Vostro 1500 laptop, and for that reason may not have the

The stock Ubuntu kernel that will boot is version 2.6.31-5-generic. The
custom kernel is compiled from 2.6.31-rc5. The stock ubuntu kernel is
not missing the initrd, but my custom kernel is compiled without one.

After I applied the update to version 1.96+20090725-1ubuntu1 of grub2,
grub will no longer boot my custom-compiled initramfs-less kernel.
Instead, it just displays the size and location of the kernel in Hex and
hardlocks the PC. Ctrl+Alt+Del does n
For people who want their Qt and GTK applications to look exactly the
same, there is also a kde-style-qtcurve package. You can get the latest

the time I upgraded to KDE 4.3RC2 and I installed the Nvidia 190.xx
drivers. Which nvidia driver are you using? Do you have KDE?
