When a custom cursor theme is set for GNOME, GTK+ 3 apps do not use the
theme's selection cursor (i.e. the normal cursor, used for selection,
pointing, etc). What looks like the selection cursor from the default
cursor theme is used instead. The custom theme's cursors are

While 2.6.38-9-generic seems to have reduced wakeups on my MacbookPro
8,1 slightly, I'm still getting 500-600/s from Interprocessor interrupts
and 100-200/s from i915 PCI-MSI-edge interrupts.

Eric, I believe brcmsmac is the driver to try.
I would test this myself but the latest image in the kernel PPA (linux-
image-2.6.39-0-generic_2.6.39-0.5~20110427_amd64) hangs for me after
trying to load the ramdisk.

updates, 2D/3D performance has reverted to Lucid levels: video playback
