I'm having issues getting the mainline kernel installed on my 16.04
install. The mainline .deb package looks like it depends on having
openssl 1.1 or greater installed through dpkg (which isn't possible on
16.04 as the release for openssl 1.1 is only on 18.04).

kernel 4.4.0-57. Prior to this latest kernel (4.4.0-124) I have not see
