This has to do with MTU path discovery. The weird thing (to me) is that
EMSGSIZE is being sent by the kernel in the read call instead of when

The problem is not fixed until it stops happening. It's so obvious I'm
amazed somebody could disagree. I installed the new version and my pc
crashed exactly as before. If this is fixed (ha!) then please somebody
