This is a non-issue today as all the kernel-modules are automatically fixed
when you get a new kernel.
I suggest that you update to a newer release. In at least the last two

When I set the nvidia driver, I'm asked to reboot to activate it. Everything is
jolly.
Until I reboot again. Then X does not start and I'm left in the terminal.

Surely you can make a special package of bluez-gnome and once the kde-
bluetooth is ready make the kde package depend on a package that
uninstalls the special package.
Less than 10% reads the release notes is my guess.
Having blues-gnome on the cd wouldn't be bad. It's not that big! It's much
Akregator start automatically and lie in the systray when not used
actively. I suppose I didn't close it manually before shutdown.

It's very strange!
I've been following the guide on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend
When I run the following as root, I resume just fine:
sync; echo 1 /sys/power/pm_trace; /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force
however, when I suspend using the Guidance power manager I don't resume
properly.
just tried to suspend again with the powermanager when
/sys/power/pm_trace = 1
upon resume the screen started to flickered with colors for about 5
seconds and then X restarted and I was presented with KDM logon prompt.
I logged on and it seems to work ok, expect that my session was kicked.

Now, after rolling linux-image-2.6.24-21 out, my virtualization will be
broke again. Last time it took almost a week before it worked again.
I think Anders proposes a good idea. Now, how does this practice become
