I can confirm this too except strigidaemon does not crash on my PC, just
keeps running and using all my CPU for as long as forever :-/

My opinion is that Ubuntu should offer an extra configuration dialog in the
installer which would allow users to disable initialization of unwanted
subsystems and daemons, like for example Bluetooth, though not necessarily
