I resized the only partition from 30 gb to 10 gb in the manual disk setup step.
During the file system check I selected skip. The progress dialog is closed and

I had the same problem, after installing a lexmark, but had installed the
printer in kde system settings before I installed the right ppd.
So here are my questions: did you install the printer with a script or ppd file
(linuxprinting.org) and did you install it
Added the repository and updated wlassistant.

connect (static works)

OK, using gnome desktop.
From what I have learned by now is, that the disk administration program was
removed because of compatibility problems with hal. I'm pretty sure that there
will be one again for gnome, only question is when.
If I get any news, or somebody else has some, you'll hear.

The ipw3945 was detected by the life system but the restricted package is not
installed. Should be default to install when hardware which is in restricted
modules is detected.

Here's some strange thing.
Happened on edgy eft,knot 3, beta and rc1.
When I open a file with the vi editor, normally it is possible to navigate with
the cursor keys.
Not here, because the cursor keys invoke some strange steering signs or letters.
