VPNC started from root terminal works fine but the nm-applet hangs.

Now I changed to ETTERCAP which works fine and offers similar features

I have to confirm this, too. Wether my URLSNARF or any app out of the
DSNIFF suite grabs any data. Wireshark, Etherrape work fine. I read
somewhere that this is a problem with the libnids?
I tested your patch but this doesn't fix the problem :( but thank you
