by setting multihead-mode to "focus-follow" i can get the notifications
on the main monitor... why isn't this the default behaviour? However, it
seems that notification positioning is wrong: instead of leaving a tiny
space from the panel, it leaves a tiny space from the top of the screen,
therefore
i get this bug with a (0x046d, 0x081a) camera, which is a logitech c260.
if you could please add this device to the patch as well, i could stop
using my custom "3.0.4-chipmunk" kernel :-)

When i press "capture video" guvcview segfaults. unfortunately it does

Public bug reported:
I get this bug quite often with my Logitech C260 webcam. Unplugging and
replugging the device solves the issue. I think it mainly happens if i
boot with the device plugged or if i resume with the device plugged, but
I'm not 100% sure that's the exact way to reliably reproduce
Rebooting solved the problem, but it's not the first time I have this
random failure...

+ Background shifted and problem repainting part of the screen
Public bug reported:
Since I restarted my laptop a couple of hours ago, i get this strange
corruption. It looks like the background is shifted, and X has problem
repainting the screen where there is no background. Also, the unity dock
does not hide. As you can see, the firefox window is missing it
The guest user also has this problem. Also, when the screen is locked,
the background is displayed correctly (though that's not a real desktop,
is it?)

Workaround: use partition doctor to rewrite your partition table (and keep your
data of course!). This is due to an inconsistent partition table.
parted should give you the error: "Error: can't have overlapping partitions"
Still i don't know why EE "tolerated" this inconsistency while FF
