Running on a Thinkpad X1 (sandybridge) I was experiencing random crashes of libreoffice (impress and writer) until I disabled the antialiasing after which I have not experienced a single crash. To verify this was the cause I turned antialiasing back on and sure enough the problem returned. --

I routinely see this behavior. When I start a new unity session, the launcher usually does not auto- reveal with the mouse for the first few minutes --- I must use the super key. After a while, it starts mostly working but I have never figured out what helps. This is with a fully updated 11.10
