I agree that having more wallpapers by default would be great. When I
tried KDE4 one of the first impressions I had was "wow, those wallpapers
are nice", with Ubuntu I can't say the same (it's not that the default
one is ugly, but it is the only one available and gives a rather poor
experience).

I think that the current positioning of the MOTD is suboptimal, because of the
following reasons:
a) You don't see it directly, but instead you have to switch over to it.
b) It has its own tab, which takes up space and requires more key

I have the same problem with an Ahtec Sense XHL 90 (it is new and the
battery has no problems). It loads fine but when the X should appear the

Oops, this is fixed in Debian's SVN but I forgot to upload it because of Debian
being frozen. Except this to be fixed in Jaunty within the next weeks.

Yes, I added detection to detect whether if a package is virtual or
not, but haven't added code to determine an installation candidate

Sebastien: They aren't duplicates. Bug #269213 is about Nautilus needing
to be restarted for nautilus-image-converter to be available, this bug
is about nautilus-image-converter's options not being available at all.
mp: Can you try if this still happens if you uninstall nautilus-script-
manager?
