Kai-Heng, this was the first time that I had submitted a bug-report, so I wasn't aware that I had to collect a bug report number. I now know, I think, that the ReportNumber is in the URL of the report address, but otherwise I don't know it. Would it be buried in a local Apport file. I did look,

As I have previously reported via ubuntu-bug, but without the addition of regression-update, this 'fix' for kernel drivers had stopped my BT in its tracks. Restored a previous disk image free of updated kernel drivers. I have now found how to avoid this install with a reliable check box in Gnome
