I have the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04, all updates installed.
(image on monitor freezed, no mouse movement, no keybord). In my observation
all processes are freezed, not just the UI.
Hardware: Intel Core i5 3360M Ivy Bridge, RAM 8GB, Intel HD Graphics
4000, Intel SSD 520
The lock up appears
Same issue on my T510i 4313-8AG with Intel HD Graphics on Ubuntu 10.10 with
kernel 2.6.35-24-generic. Suspend and hibernate are both very unreliable
(literally stopped working). It worked fine recently, it could be perhaps
blamed to the recent kernel update.
