Public bug reported: Cannot save changed unless I try to close and opt to save them through the dialog. To reproduce it, compare two files, make a change, note the "*" in the changed file. Open the "File" menu and "Save" is grayed out. Look at the "Save" button in the toolbar, it's disabled.
