I would just like to confirm this bug, and that it's still a problem on
ubuntu 11.10.
I have to write mydomain/username and password every time.
My username is actually remembed, but just that.
Is there any hack around it?

It seems the kernel 2.6.39 didn't fix my problem. What seems to have
done it, though, is disabling settings in xscreensaver! Even if
xscreensaver was not configured to enter any sleep or suspend mode, it
must have done so anyway. After I disabled the screensaver I don't have
any problems any more.
Update:
I've upgraded to kernel 2.6.39 and this might have fixed my problem.
Will post back if I encounter problems again.

This affects me too, Xubuntu 11.04 AMD64.
Further, the power settings are not respected. I've set it to never do

I'm vaguely speculating if this has something to do with dualbooting
windows 7. Maybe the power settings there override the
I also commented out the warnings in the 3 python files above

I get the same error messages from Evince with the same procedure. This
must have been caused by some updates that came in August because before

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this?
Autocompletion does not work, among other things.
I have tried removing and installing ipython again with no change in the
error output.
After creating the file 'ipythonrc' in my ~/.ipython directory I no
longer get the error message -

The bug has to do with the Nvidia 185 drivers. When I switch back to the 177

Is this also the cause of the poor fonts I get in Okular with my tex-

If it is, I wonder what file I should apply the patch to. I don't have
