mentioned in my report, if the value is > 200k well issues in game is

Today, Hogwarts Legacy, Star Citizen and few more games are crashing or just
not starting because the vm_max_map_count is locked at 65530. If we change this
value to a value > 2000
So this wasn't related to the linux-firmware package, I'm now running
1.197.2 with working sound.

No, this is the sound from the headphone jack, not the monitor. I agree
it's not immediately apparent how those commits could affect the sound.
When I go into the sound settings it shows my headphones as plugged in.
But even when I try to use the "test left" and "test right" buttons

USB3 port, and everything seems to be okay. So it does seem to be USB2

This system was working perfectly 3 months ago. I turned it off and left it off
until yesterday.
When I came back to it and turned it on, it worked initially but then the
nvidia video card
(nvidia GeForce GT 630) decided to die. I replaced the video card with an
nvidia GeF
Note that this became 100% consistent. As in every time I booted I got the
issue, rather than just most of the time.
Also, that it's now in release 5.0.0.20-lowlatency, 64 bit version.

I have the same issue.
At the login screen, I select my user, enter the password, the mouse works fine
at this point.
Click on login, wait, screen comes up then at random, the mouse either
works fine (about 1 time in 5) or it goes really really slow (4 times out of 5).
Only way I'm working
This issue impacted me as well on a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 install. I
encountered this when I attempted to install ubuntu-restricted-extras.
The work-around provided (sudo dpkg-reconfigure libdvd-pkg) corrected
the issue.

I just installed 1.1.6 from the github repo. It works better, but isn't
perfect. My iPad shows up on my desktop and there is no trust loop, but
full functionality isn't restored and I'm unable to open my device.
This is just going to be a case of waiting til libimobiledevice is
functional again, I
I get the same on a fresh install with English (UK) as my primary
language.

encourded this problem also with some other programs. Will the ia32-libs be

After upgrading from 12.10 to 13.04 I have had many issues with 'low
graphics mode' & cannot fix this, despite trying everything suggested in
various pages. So I decided to try & install flgrx to see if that would
help. Which resulted in this issue.
I am installing on a Dell
I'm running Dropbox 1.6.0amd64 with binary dropbox-lnx.x86_64-2.4.0 and
the indicator is missing still for me on a fresh Saucy install.
