Same for me. Huh... I also got the same sequence as posted by the first user. Sometimes, Alt+Ctrl+Del doesn't work and so, that's when the Magic keys come in. So for me, the only way I can get the pc to shut down properly is by doing a reboot and choosing Shut down at the Ubuntu login screen.
