have been having problems getting my calendar data to appear. When I
started akonadi from the console I could see from the log it was

I am also getting this error on my wife's laptop since I updated it to
Meerkat on the 11th. Strangely enough I did no get this error on my own
laptop which is identical when I upgrade it about 10 days ago.
I linked the said file in question but when I did so I then got the

I can also confirm that I have this bug. Editing out the --search part
of the boot line gives me a working system. However... I just did some
updates and part of the update was a new kernel linux-2.6.31-16-generic.
After the updates my system reboots and instead of encountering the

I seem to be having this same problem. I have Kubuntu 9.10 loaded on two
HP DV2 laptops that are exactly the same. This error appears on both of

I've recently upgraded to the beta of Ubuntu jaunty (development
branch); Release: 9.04. For whatever reason, sometimes if I hold
certain keyboard buttons down for a second or two, it will kill the
xserver and bring me back to the login screen. It is almost exactly like

The newest kernel version 2.6.27-7.12-generic seems to have fixed the
issue. Kubuntu now sees the whole disk size and does not corrupt it when
booting. Thanks to whoever fixed it.
Can this bug be recommended for closure?

Just pinging back to say that I still have this problem. I'm staying
with the 2.6.24 kernel for now. I'll be trying the newer kernels as they

Just a quick update. You can scratch of the SATA to IDE adapter as being
part of the problem. I attached the IDE disk directly to one of the IDE
ports on the motherboard and I still got the same issue. I can boot
perfectly with 2.6.24-19 but 2.6.27 results in all of the above
messages...

Some update...
I figured that I would format my disk and reinstall using the newest iso

I have a BioStar TForce 550 motherboard with the N550 chipset from
NVIDIA. I've been using the 64bit version of Hardy Heron without any
issues but recently decided to start testing Intrepid Ibex. My
