I have a similar problem in Ubuntu 20.04 Dell Precision 5510. The touchpad randomly ignores 'clicks'. (both mechanical and touch clicks). I get similar results from xinput --list: $ xinput --list ⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2[master pointer (3)] ⎜ ↳ Virtual core

Same problem here. I can no longer log into 18.04. First password entry fails, then on second entry, I get purple screen with working mouse pointer. But hangs there. This has been an intermittent problem for me over the past few weeks, but today seems to be 100%. -- You received this bug
