Technically the bug is invalid because ,as ZhengPeng explained, kubuntu-desktop
is the englisch desktop.
On the other hand as a wish to implement simpler default language handling it's
IMHO valid.The default language during installation can be found with:

loop back device misconfigured. Compare localhost in /etc/hosts

kernele the new libata drivers are used. They name the drives

As a work around until fai-kernels uses 2.6.20 you can

Due to /var/run being a tmpfs, this directory does no longer
exists after a reboot.Then the pkgs is unusable.

If it reports 'no wireless extensions.' for your wireless
device, it's not the fault of wlassistant, because the
system does not set it up correctly.

FWIW: It's not the primary task of a distro to add features to
applications. That the primary task up the wlassistant
developers. Only IMHO, no flameware please ;)
Wireless is unfortunately not the strong side of the
linux kernel :(

check that you have the pkg linux-restricted-modules-kern-vers
installed that corresponds to the kernel you are running:
dpkg -l linux-restricted-modules-`uname -r`
this pkgs contains the acx firmware.

digikam 0.9 or 0.8.2 does not matter because they use the
trash support from kdebase.
I've create a fresh default ubuntu edgy
installation, and aptitude install'ed digikam, and Pictures I deleted
in digikam ended up in ~/.local/share/Trash (that did not
exists before I started
I close the bug now , 'cause
o feisty contains the latest digiakm release: 1:0.9.0-0ubuntu1.
o for dapper/edgy exists my unofficial repo.
Official backports are not easy as a clean solution means backporting
