I can confirm that 15.10 does indeed come with ttf-indic-fonts.
The fonts provided on Ubuntu 15.10 by default provides a suboptimal
user experience for someone dealing with Indic content. These are VERY
old fonts, and it is gross injustice to not include newer versions. The

I finally managed to check that issue does not appear on the same
configuration with 14.04: if booted via EFI it suspend/resumes with no
problem and does not crashes anymore.

Compiled libvdpau1_0.4.1-3ubuntu1_amd64.deb for Ubuntu 12.04 as per
Alex's instructions using Stephen Warren's patch. Works great for me.
Attaching the compiled binary for convenience.
Don't forget to create a file named /etc/vdpau_wrapper.cfg with the following
contents:

I confirm the bug. I met it on MacBook 2.1. Removing mouseemu helps to
solve the issue. Xorg.0.log is full of messages:

not "russian" dictionary:

I tested the today's build of alternative hardy CD for amd64, selected Russian
from boot menu and installation started with no problem.
But in the middle of setup process some package changed the font on virtual
consoles (letters appears thin after that) and keyboard layout.
I have bluetooth troubles with hardy kernel too. MacBook, edition
before Santa Rosa.

The order is: run evolution, press tasks, press New on toolbar, type in summary
(Save button changing color from grey), try to press Save.
