I feel so sorry, but I did NOT continue with 20.04 - Focal Fossa, yet
downgraded to 18.04 via backup.
I couldn't even find out, where GnomeTweaks > Fonts is because EVERY SYSTEM
FONT was unreadable. I won't try to upgrade this machine furthermore. Please,
mark this thread as solved / unsolved.
By the way, I'd tried to:
reinstall xorg xserver
gsettings reset org.gnome.desktop.interface 'font-name' etc.
gnome-tweak-tools (changing/guessing fonts type)
fc-cache -v -r/etc (with restart)
install ttf-ancient-fonts
--> withOUT success

I threw that mainboard away lately, because it definitely had a SATA-connection

Hi,
I updated my /boot/grub/menu.lst, added line:
## additional options to use with the default boot option, but not with the
## alternatives
## e.g. defoptions=vga=791 resume=/dev/hda5
# defoptions=quiet splash locale=pt_BR
defoptions=all_generic_ide=1
I tried the forum proposal but didn't
work for me. Did I do something wrong?
Follow attached my menu.lst, K3B log and Nero Linux log.
Please, I need help because I can't write a CD or DVD since upgrade last
April.
Thanks,
Claudio Bassani
