I have kubuntu 9.04 and kde 4.3.2 and I am experiencing the same
problem. new themes say they download but do not show up in the list.
When I check in ~/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes there will be an html
file. The only way I can get a theme to work is to manually download
the file and place it

(add/remove programs) I don't see an option to display only installed
packages. I think it may be easier to remove packages that are installed
that you do not want anymore instead of searching through the lis
I had to reinstall kubuntu last night and after I installed all the
updates the sound was working with kernel version 2.6.24-19-generic. So
something might not have been configured properly last time I did the
upgrade.

This morning I installed the latest kernel update -19 and sound does not
work with it either. same things happen. do you need me to try anything

I have compiz fusion (version 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu6) enabled on kubuntu 8.04,
when alt-space is pressed katapult (version 0.3.2.1-3) does not start.
Instead the window management menu will be displayed for the current
application that has focus. When I removed compiz fusion and re
adept_manager has crashed on me again while installing a new package
called libupnp2. it crashed at the end after configuration. I am using
kubuntu 7.10 with the latest updates. i'm not sure what other debugging
symbols to install, I have kdelibs-dbg,kdeaddons-dbg, kdebase-dbg,
kdenetwork-dbg and

This also happens to me. I am using kubuntu gutsy. when I update
packages it will crash at the end mostly when a new window pops up
saying "copying files". It comes up when it is trying to copy the change
logs for the packages.

Restarting adept notifier will fix the problem for me. I tried to add a
20 second delay to compiz and the adept notifier icon will appear in
the tray before compiz loads. When compiz loads it will get moved to the
taskbar. I am using fiesty instead of gutsy.
