It looks like this has something to do with iptables (even if there are
no iptables rules).
While messing around with something else I tried disabling bridge track
from passing through iptables and that seemed to fix the problem.
sysctl setting:
net.bridge.bridge-nf-call-iptables=0
Hmm so either something has changed or my testing before was not 100%
accurate.
Using the below configuration I am unable to ping anything. Additionally
I can't talk to any resources via the default gateway (I have confirmed
I can do this without bridging in play), however I just noticed that I
Interesting you have a few options set differently then I do. I will try

With that in mind, do you mean a 3.4.x kernel, because 3.3.8 and

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: stumpwm
stumpwm should install a .desktop file in /usr/share/xsessions so it is
included in gdm's list of X sessions.
** Affects: stumpwm (Ubuntu)

Status: New

Doesn't install /usr/share/xsessions/stumpwm.desktop
StumpWM doesn't technically need sbcl. It needs an implementation of
Common Lisp, and CLX (the Common Lisp X interface, basically Xlib for
Common Lisp).
The stumpwm package Depends on common-lisp-controller, which helps with
making sure there's a CL compiler, and cl-clx-sbcl | cmucl-source |
/usr/bin/stumpwm contains:
load_lisp() {
case $1 in
cmucl)
lisp -eval $EVAL_LOAD $EVAL_RUN
;;
sbcl)
sbcl --eval $EVAL_LOAD --eval $EVAL_RUN
;;
clisp)
clisp -x $EVAL_LOAD $EVAL_RUN
stumpwm should Depend on sbcl | cmucl | clisp

I've just realized that my fix only works if include_path has already
been set in php.ini. It seems that if include_path has not been
explicitly set before conf.d/smarty.ini is included it causes a
segfault.
