the problem is, that apple efi is not compatible with windows uefi, so
will get this error on some mac models with 64bit vistaa sp1, 64bit win7
and now with ubuntu too. the only way to fix this with windows is to
create a new install dvd without efi, hopefully the ubuntu devs do not
remove efi but
i think the problem is the new nvidia driver, it killed my macbooks

so, i have done the changes to xorg.conf, now my notebook performes like
windows without any drivers. scrolling is so slow, that i can make
coffee during scroll one page.
i have read the archlinux wiki, and i found this line in one users xorg.conf
i have inserted it in the xorg.conf under section
the new xorg log file, with folowing things in xorg.conf:

ok, the problem is the following, srolling in firefox or thunderbird or evince,
or simply using the the selection box for marking for example the icons on my
desktop is rendered by software. therefore its slow and causes high cpu usage.
but in my notebook i have a radeon
is there any possibility to clean all the compiz related stuff from my system,
including all from ubuntu devs edited files. that the X is clean again?
maybe this works. or someone can fix the bug, this is the solution i prefer. thx

deactivate, because before everything is slow, after everything works.

still slow, and the pageload causes a 100%cpuload.
i have tired it with my other pc, athlon xp1800+ , sis integrated graka, 512MB

3,06GHz), but cat /proc/cpuinfo shows me 2x 2,3GHz. after loading module
p4_clockmod it shows me 2x 380Mhz, caused of powernowd, and powernowd don't set
