I've been having crashes with the same assertion message, when trying to
run Windows 10 ARM under a VM. But I finally figured out that what's
actually crashing it is not the fact that it's Windows, it's the fact
that I was attaching the virtual drive via virtual USB.

I've enabled XDMCP in GDM, and created an xinetd service for VNC via
XDMCP.
Any time I try to connect via VNC, gdm crashes, taking down the local display
as well.
After that, gdm won't start again until I kill the "orphaned" local display.

Affects me too, primarily after closing the last window in a set of open
windows and thus exit the program. lxpanel heads for 100% on task panel.
If terminated, then the lxpanel restarts. If killed, then a terminal has
to be used to relaunch lxpanel. I can usually avoid the problem by not
closing
Below are the steps I've used to resolve my problem for now.
path to files = /home/{user}/.local/share/zeitgeist/
Short version:
* I overwrote /home/dbyrd/.local/share/zeitgeist/* then shutdown my PC via
the menu. Upon boot the CPU issue was absent.
* zeitgeist daemon cpu usage now
The bug is still present in version 0.13.1 on Ubuntu 10.04. But in my
case the bug is a little bit more extreme because I'm not able to start
rhythmbox at all, it just constantly crashes with the following debug-
output.

I can confirm that it seems to be ConsoleKit killing the session, because it's
taking out both DRI and audio.
This bug should probably renamed -- it's not merely an i915 issue.

The default for the new switcher is alt-tab, but I wanted to reassign it to
super. When I did so, I found the following issue:
Any time you press a super combo quickly, the other combo will fire but the
dash will still show.

In my case, the song is removed from my library only until I restart Rhythmbox.
