On my keyboard If I hit the 0 in the keypad (which is right next to the
right arrow key) gedit toggles into OVR. I also found it more difficult
then it should be to toggle back to INS. I finally stumbled on this bug
report and was able to get it switched. IMHO it should be more difficult

Can you enable Bandwidth Throttling in Ubuntu One and reduce the number and see
if that helps with the amount of bandwidth Ubuntu One uses.

--start. You will likely need to let it sit for a few/several minutes. Then run
u1sdtool -c.
