I am using cloud-init from ansible 2.9 to set the FQDN on a newly
deployed VM host. In Red Hat and CentOS VMs the FQDN is being set with
the same ansible code but in Ubuntu 18.04 I am only getting the hostname
without the domain. The log file from the Ubuntu VM is attached
I can confirm it, Im using Linux Mint 19.3 cinnamon with an AMD/GPU
radeon vega mobile gtx8, and everytime I install the kernel, the laptop
can't seem to shutdown or reboot.

Same problem for me, I'm using maverick 10.10 with nvidia latest beta
drivers and xinerama. Every QT Apps crashes, driving me nuts. Goes away
when I unplug the second monitor and restart X Server. Tried downgrading
to the stable nvidia packages but no difference. Switching off

Tested on 64-bit Lucid
Upgraded kernel to linux-image-2.6.32-22-generic. (Restart required)
Installed package Nvidia-current (195.36.65-Oubuntu3). (Restart required)
From a terminal:
1. sudo service gdm stop
2. sudo nvidia-xconfig --sli=on
3. startx
Drivers load and no further conflicts
the following lines:
May 2 13:22:01 eddy-testdesktop kernel: [ 266.445331] nvidia: module license
'NVIDIA' taints kernel.
May 2 13:22:01 eddy-testdesktop kernel: [ 266.445335] Disabling lock
debugging due to kernel taint
May 2 13:22:01 eddy-testdesktop kernel: [ 267.034199] NVRM: The NVIDIA probe

Same here. 2 nVidia 8600GT SLi cards. Upgraded my 32-bit from Hardy to
Lucid and immediately crashed on reboot. Installed 64-bit from CD on
second hdd (ran into the dmraid problem there, lost all data on my
primary drive, bleh) and every time I install either the 173 or -current
drivers, I get a

resulting in the caplocks and num lock key to flash repeatedly.
