I have the same problem. I'm runing Ubuntu 13.04 on a ext4 partition and
it works perfectly. However, when copying files between two external
hard drives, I notice 2 "mount.ntfs" processes running and one of them
would use 80%+ CPU aprox, according to "top".

default, and was avoided by pressing the "shift" key while moving the
window. The way to fix this is by checking the option "Snap Inverted" in

Same effect, I think its because in Gnome 2.26.1 it uses "color" to see

Yes, it keeps having the same issue.. Another annoying thing that I
found is that when there's a lot or few files in a folder in list view
you try to drag and drop one file, and the whole window turns pink.

The "slighly more compact version of the patch" with syntax

Ok, now here's another way how it could be done.
echo 0403 e40b > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id
That would have added the VID/PID to the ftdi_sio driver too, but it's
just a temporary solution :)

You have to edit the ftdi_sio driver and recompile it.
