Interesting... the problem persisted on Lucid Lynx on my Thinkpad T40
with a fresh install. Totem played fine when not fullscreen, but really
choppy when full. Running gstreamer-properties switching to all ALSA
indeed fixed the problem for me.
The issue is real, at least for me. Glad I came
sry for double posting, but i neglected to mention that I also changed
video default output to X Window System (X11/XShm/Xv) from gstreamer-
properties as well. Think that did it more for me than switching audio
to ALSA. Nonetheless it's working well now.

I also have an issue with F-Spot's add-in manager refreshing to an error
related to the repo. Was looking to see what available extensions were
out, but got the error message instead.
to reproduce:
in F-Spot 0.6.1.5,
edit, manage extensions, click install add-ins button, click the refresh
gui since the domain field was left blank) This is
getting really frustrating because it's throwing me in circles.

I'm glad to report that this issue has been resolved in Hardy Heron.
The latest LTS release has been a huge success as far as I'm concerned.
:) I'm loving the performance boost in Nautilus as well! Keep up the
good work Ubuntu team.

file list does not drag correct file to playlist
Public bug reported:
In Hardy (x86 final release clean install), I found that manually typing
in a domain name in Network Settings (general section) stops the sudo
command from working. Subsequently, an unresolved host message comes
up when issuing a sudo command in the terminal, crippling much
Unfortunately there has been no correction with this issue, as Totem
still drags files incorrectly from its filelist. Try it yourself:
1) start totem
2) ctrl+o OR click the add button, to open up a file list; note that this file
list in Totem is the problem I have

file list
Sorry for double posting, but I have to add one more thing. When
strictly using the add button from the file list, meaning add file to
playlist, then in file list press the +add button again, it will always
add the correct file to playlist.
very strange, because it conflicts with my presumption
