Governor Plugin applet crashes in Xubuntu on switch to a virtual console

docking station is plugged in:

However, it's definitely recognizing the docking station via ExpressCard
since all the USB ports on the docking station itself work
I have regenerated the file as requested with the docking station
plugged in and for reference also generated when it was not plugged in.

Agree with both points made by Jason. A cursory glance through the
comments above shows a variety of hardware from big-name vendors (Acer,
Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo) - these guys clearly deemed the xD format
sufficiently popular in merit inclusion of the card reader in their

SD cards work fine, xD cards do not work on my HP Pavilion dv2699 laptop
with a built in Ricoh 5-in-1 card reader.
